As announced on July 26, 2019 (“Announcement of Succession of Business by Company Split (Simplified absorption-type split)”), the succession of "Rakuten Cash" business conducted by Rakuten, Inc. (hereinafter the ”Company”) to Rakuten Edy, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rakuten Payment, Inc. which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, by way of a company split has been completed on October 1, 2019.
