Probation Period
Three (3) months
  • *At the discretion of the company, the probationary period may be extended.
  • *No change to employment conditions during probationary period.
Work Location
The place of work after employment will be at the Head Office in Tokyo (Rakuten Crimson House, 1-14-1, Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) or other branches.
A work location may be changed regarding relocation and transfer to domestic or overseas branch offices.
  • *In cases where Work From Home (WFH) is permitted, it is only allowed at work locations approved by the company.
  • *Work location will be listed in the position's advertisement or employment offer letter.
  • *Smoking indoors at Rakuten Crimson House is prohibited as part of passive smoking countermeasures.
    (This may change depending on your working location.)
Working Hours
Working Hours: 7.5h (9:00 to 17:30)
  • *On the day of ASAKAI (All Rakuten Group morning meeting): 7.5h (8:00 to 16:30)
  • *Break: One hour lunch break
  • *There is a possibility of overtime work hours, holiday work.
  • *For some positions, flex time can be applied.
    Core time:11:00 to 15:00 (On the day of ASAKAI:8:00 to 12:00)
  • *Some positions may differ from the above, but details will be stated in the employment offer letter (e.g., Discretionary Labor System).
Holidays/Leaves
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays
Vacation: Summer vacation, year-end and New Year holidays, annual paid vacation, leave of absence before and after childbirth, maternity health management measures, leave for menstrual issues, childcare leave of absence, special leave of absence (Family-care leave of absence, volunteer, etc.)
Salary
Salary Package: 301,000 JPY ( Base Salary 228,608 JPY + monthly payment including overtime wages for 40 hours per month of 72,392 JPY)
  • *Amount listed above is the minimum wage offer for mid career recruitment.
  • *For overtime work that exceeds 40 hours a month, a separate overtime allowance will be provided.
  • *Some positions may differ from the above, but details will be stated in the employment offer letter (e.g., Discretionary Labor System).
  • *Commuting allowance will be provided. (There are conditions and maximum amount.)

  • *Will be determined based on the result of the Employee's performance evaluation in January and July.
