Rakuten Optimism is an event series designed to inspire visions of a shared brighter future, as well as deepen the understanding of the services and ideals underpinning the Rakuten Group ecosystem. Designed with interested visitors and casual shoppers in mind, this portion of the event is united under the common theme, “new discoveries at every turn.” Stop by and discover booths where visitors can discover unique experiences through a 5G lens, savor culinary delights from across Japan provided by merchants on Rakuten’s online shopping mall, Rakuten Ichiba, and even say hello to Rakuten’s official shopping mascot, Okaimono Panda. Visitors can enjoy a completely cashless experience with all purchases of food, drink and merchandise inside the event space.*1
