TOKYO, May 15, 2013 - Rakuten Edy, Inc., consolidated subsidiary of Rakuten, Inc., announced the following personnel changes, which were approved at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and by its Board of Directors today. Furthermore, another Rakuten consolidated subsidiary, Rakuten Card Co., Ltd., also announced the following personnel changes, which were approved by its Board of Directors today.

1. New appointment of Directors

CEO: Masayuki Hosaka
Director (non-executive): Kenji Hirose
Auditor (non-executive): Takeshi Saito
Senior Executive Officer: Hiroki Sogawa
Executive Officer: Yoshito Naganuma
Executive Officer: Yukihiro Koyama

2. Retirement of Directors

CEO: Yoshihisa Yamada
Director: Koichi Noda

Note: Vice President Koichi Nakamura will retire from the position of Vice President but continue to be involved in management as a Non-executive Director.
