Rakuten Now Accepting Pre-Orders for
the 5” kobo mini eReader

TOKYO, December 5, 2012 – Kobo Inc. (Head Office: Toronto, Canada; CEO: Michael Serbinis; hereinafter “Kobo”), a subsidiary of Rakuten, Inc. (JASDAQ: 4755), today announced that the kobo mini eReader is now available for pre-order at https://kobo.rakuten.co.jp/ for 6,980 yen (tax included). The device will ship starting on December 18th and will also be made available at “Rakuten Ichiba,” “Rakuten Books” as well as at major home electronics outlets. 

The kobo mini is the world’s smallest and lightest full-featured E Ink eReader available, offering the full Kobo experience at a great value. Proving that great things come in small packages, the 5” kobo mini easily fits in your purse or pocket and is loaded with all of the amazing features Kobo customers have come to know and love. In addition, the front-lit kobo glo eReader is available at 7,980 yen (tax included) and the kobo Touch eReader at 6,980 yen(tax included).
