Tokyo, January 15, 2015 - Rakuten, Inc. today announced that it has commenced the pre-order sale of an original, limited edition Valentine’s Day compilation CD album titled “Thank You – CHOCOLATES & MUSIC MAKE YOU HAPPY!!“ on its online book store, Rakuten Books. The price of the album is 2,160 yen (tax and shipping included) and delivery of the CD is planned to start in early February.
Created through the cooperation of Sony Music Labels Inc. and Sony Music Marketing Inc., and in collaboration with the popular Rakuten Ichiba sweets store Vanilla Beans Yokohama Chocolatier, the CD album features 18 tracks selected based on the concept of a fusion of sweets and music. With mellow R&B and pop tracks from female artists such as Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, Alicia Keys and Avril Lavigne, the CD album and sweets together make a unique and ideal gift for loved ones on Valentine’s Day.
The CD album can be purchased on Rakuten Books and at the Vanilla Beans Minato Mirai Store in Yokohama. In addition, the CD album can be purchased in a set with Vanilla Beans’ long-selling ganache and cookie sweet, “Chocolat” (in packs of 4) at Vanilla Beans stores including its Rakuten Ichiba store.
