Start of Year-Round Hiring for Engineers

In January 2015, Rakuten ended its new-graduate recruitment system and introduced year-round hiring for engineers in order to attract outstanding talent from throughout the world. Previously, Rakuten had already increased the number of recruitment seasons to twice a year in April and October. Now, the proportion of newly graduated overseas engineers recruited in 2015 has climbed to 70%. Their nationalities also show great diversity.
