Rakuten and Uber Strengthen Strategic Partnership with Rakuten Points Connection

Uber Japan Co., Ltd, Uber Eats Japan, Inc., Rakuten Group, Inc., and Rakuten Payment, Inc. announced the strengthening of their strategic partnership, starting with Rakuten ID connection. With the connection of Rakuten Point Online, users can now earn up to 2% of their payment back when using the mobility service Uber and the delivery service Uber Eats. Uber, meanwhile, can leverage Rakuten's extensive data assets to provide tailored recommendations and promotional information.
