Rakuten TV Supports Telcos in Europe with Streaming Expertise

Rakuten TV Europe is one of the leading streaming platforms in the region for paid and free ad-supported video content thanks to partnerships with major TV manufacturers. And now, it is expanding its service even further by partnering with telecom companies, starting with Orange Spain, which rebranded its paid TV service to “Videoclub by Rakuten TV" from 2022. We visited the company's offices in Barcelona to hear from CEO Cedric Dufour about the background behind this strategy.
