"Rakuten Fashion" Evolves with Industry Expert Guidance

Rakuten announced the establishment of an expert advisory council to support its new fashion category “Rakuten Fashion,” through which it aims to leverage the advice and expertise of fashion industry professionals in order to further strengthen website design, user communication, and more.

At the announcement press conference, Mickey and well-known Japanese fashion magazine editor Toshiko Nakashima, who was appointed as the council’s Executive Fashion Creative Director, expressed their ambitions for the initiative. In addition, representatives from two companies participating in Rakuten Fashion – Hiroyuki Kondo of MASH Holdings Co., Ltd., and Susumu Sasaki of JUN Co., Ltd, - shared their views on the “Rakuten Fashion” strategy.
