On October 28, 2017, Rakuten's Technology Division hosted the 11th annual Rakuten Technology Conference. Apart from the main venue of Rakuten Crimson House in Tokyo, this year's event took place in Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Beijing and Shanghai, reaching a total attendance of over 1,500.
