While Mother's Day is celebrated all around the world, the presents given can differ between countries. In Japan, for example, bouquets of carnations are common gifts as a way of showing appreciation, but in Taiwan, many people like to give a sweet gift to their mother, and specialty cakes are a particularly popular choice. In line with this trend, Taiwan Rakuten Ichiba collaborated with some of its gourmet merchants on a campaign to promote their delicious sweets for Mother's Day.
