Rakuten's New Grad Training Wins HR Technology Award

On September 2, 2020, Rakuten's fully remote new graduate employee training program won the Special Award at the 5th annual HR Technology Awards ceremony. At these awards, recognizing outstanding efforts of technology and big data analytics in the HR field in Japan, Rakuten was acknowledged for its utilization of technology to realize a fully remote training environment for up to 750 new graduate employees in around just one month. This new form of training was recognized for overcoming the boundaries of time and physical location in adapting to the "new normal."
