Silicon Valley Tech Fair Hosted at Rakuten Crimson Campus

On September 19, 2019, the Rakuten Americas talent acquisition team hosted a technology career fair at Rakuten Crimson Campus in partnership with Albert's List, an online career group that focuses on helping people find jobs.

The fair was attended by over 800 candidates for engineering, product management, data science and other technical roles at Rakuten and a number of other companies and sponsors that participated in the event. Aside from booths where job seekers could connect with representatives from participating companies, speakers from Rakuten Rewards, Hired, Indeed, Women Who Code, TheMentoringclub.org and other companies offered career advice and best practices for job searching. The job fair was well received by attendees and proved to be a great way for Rakuten to expand its talent pool in the Bay Area, which is an incredibly competitive market for top talent in engineering and other technical positions.
