Rakathon Builds Synergy at Rakuten Crimson House West

Rakuten Crimson House West, located in San Mateo, California, is home to a number of Rakuten Group companies and is the Americas Regional Head Office of Rakuten. In June 2016, to encourage greater collaboration between these various companies, a hackathon contest, or "Rakathon," was held.
The ten teams that took part, made up of staff across the different group companies, competed over two days to develop a new service or tool.
