Fans Flock to Rakuten Eagles' Opening Game

The season-opening game of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles was held on March 25, 2016.
Despite being held on a weekday afternoon, the game attracted a full house to the Rakuten Kobo Stadium Miyagi.
The team has started the season under team manager Masataka Nashida in a newly renovated stadium with natural turf and a brand new area called "Smile Glico Park."
