Rakuten Cup to Live Stream on Rakuten TV and Rakuten Sports
WOWOW to broadcast matches live on television in Japan
The Rakuten Cup will include a match between Spanish La Liga club FC Barcelona and English Premier League club Chelsea FC on Tuesday, July 23 at Saitama Stadium 2002, and between J.League J1 club Vissel Kobe and FC Barcelona on Saturday, July 27 at Noevir Stadium Kobe.
The two matches will be streamed live on Rakuten TV in Japan and on Rakuten Sports for overseas viewers*1. Fans will not only have the chance to enjoy a match between FC Barcelona and Chelsea FC, two of the world's top football clubs, but also the highly anticipated match between Vissel Kobe and FC Barcelona, which aims to pitch Andrés Iniesta, David Villa and Sergi Samper against their former Barça teammates.
In addition, both matches will also be broadcast live on TV in Japan by WOWOW.
*1 Rakuten TV is planning to stream the matches to countries and regions around the world excluding China, Spain, the United Kingdom and Ireland. The stream of the matches will be delayed in some regions, and may be provided through the platforms of partner companies of Rakuten. The plans for streaming the matches may change in the future.
