There are articles in the media that Rakuten Travel, operated by Rakuten, Inc. (hereafter “the Company”) was inspected by the Fair Trade Commission for alleged violations of Article 19 Paragraph 12 of the Antimonopoly Act.
Although the Company conducts business operations based on thorough compliance with laws and regulations and corporate social responsibility, on this occasion we accept the fact that the inspection was conducted in a solemn and sincere manner, and we will fully cooperate with the inspection of the Fair Trade Commission.
We will disclose the progress of the inspection etc as soon as it is known.
