Manga and Anime Fans Discover Rakuten at Japan Expo Paris

Japan Expo, Europe's biggest event dedicated to fans of Japanese culture, partnered with Rakuten for the second time in 2023. At this four-day celebration in Paris of manga, anime, cosplay and more, Rakuten set up a booth showcasing its Europe-based services, while use of the Rakuten Pay cashless payment service was also heavily promoted across the venue. The Mangaka Challenge, powered by Rakuten Kobo, reached a climax at the event, with the winner of this contest to find the best new manga artist in France announced on stage.
