Rakuten France Joins Forces with Retail Giant Carrefour

Rakuten France's e-commerce platform has been enhanced through a partnership with leading global retailer Carrefour, which operates over 14,000 stores in 43 countries. The partnership was announced in a keynote by Rakuten France CEO Fabien Versavau and Elodie Perthuisot of Carrefour Group at the One to One Monaco retail conference. The collaboration began with Carrefour opening a new online store on the Rakuten France marketplace, and its effect is already spreading to the wider Rakuten Ecosystem, with Rakuten TV announcing a partnership in May with Carrefour Spain.
