Rakuten and Nagaoka City Foster Tech Talent through Networking Event

Rakuten's various technology-centric departments are taking the lead in a new initiative, working with local governments in Japan to develop tech talent nationwide. In this report, we take a look at a recent networking event that took place based on a Comprehensive Partnership Agreement concluded in February 2022 with Nagaoka City in Niigata Prefecture. We also spoke with the event facilitator and participating international students about their thoughts on the event.
