Basketball Empowers Youth in Bay Area and Beyond

Rakuten was involved in two events in the Bay Area in April symbolizing its efforts to empower local communities together with its basketball-related partners. Firstly, a press conference was held at the City of Dreams community center in San Francisco, introducing details of the "Warriors 75th Anniversary Legacy Project, presented by Rakuten," through which the community center's facilities were renovated. Meanwhile, the final stop of Stephen Curry's "UNDERRATED Tour Powered by Rakuten" took place in Oakland, as the culmination of a nationwide search for overlooked and underrepresented high school basketball talent.
