Rakuten Drone Delivery Service Tested on Remote Island

From January 15-19, 2020, Rakuten conducted a test for a drone delivery service in Shima City, Mie Prefecture.
This test involved fully automated delivery via drone of food products and daily sundries to residents of a remote island, with orders placed on the Rakuten Drone shopping app, as well as by phone or mail order catalog.
