Grand Opening of Rakuten Seiyu Netsuper

Rakuten and Walmart jointly announced a strategic alliance in January 2018. As part of this alliance, Rakuten and Walmart's Japanese subsidiary Seiyu began operation of an online grocery delivery service.
"Rakuten Seiyu Netsuper" combines Rakuten's strong membership base and proficiency in e-commerce with Seiyu's extensive experience in operating supermarkets.
At the press conference, Senior Vice President of Seiyu Tamae Takeda and Vice President of the 1st Party Business in the Commerce Company at Rakuten Noriaki Komori took to the stage in front of a large media turnout.
