Rakuten Family Day 2019 Fills Tokyo Office with Smiles

Rakuten Family Day is held annually to give family and friends of Rakutenians a feel for what it's like to work at Rakuten, while deepening their understanding of the company. The theme of this year's event was "Experience the Rakuten Culture as Rakutenians!"　As such, part of the Asakai venue was modified to a mock office, allowing guests to experience Rakuten office life by checking out height adjustable desks and meeting areas. And participants could also create commemorative post cards and customized Edy cards.

Members of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra were also on hand to offer lessons on how to play musical instruments, and an area to experience Rakuten Institute of Technology products was very popular with visitors of all ages too.
As well as a complimentary cafeteria lunch, in the afternoon a tea time session was held for the first time in the Rakuten Crimson Club, where guests could enjoy a relaxing chat while sampling sweets from Rakuten Ichiba.
