Rakuten Optimism 2019 Shares Visions of Future

Rakuten Optimism 2019, held in Yokohama south of Tokyo from July 31 to August 3, is the largest event in the history of the Rakuten Group. It aims to offer visitors unique experiences incorporating Rakuten's various businesses, with exhibitions and booths to interest all ages. Integrating the traditional annual gatherings such as Rakuten Ichiba EXPO and Rakuten Travel EXPO into one huge event, Rakuten Optimism enjoyed participation from a vast range of partner businesses and users.
Under the theme of "Welcome to the 5G Era," the event features a free-to-enter area with exhibitions and event booths, as well as a paid ticket business conference and live performances.
