Rakuten and Kobe City Cooperate for Regional Development

On December, 2018, Rakuten announced its entry into a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Kobe City whereby it will aim to improve services for citizens of the city and further develop the region.
At the press conference held at Noevir Stadium Kobe, mayor of Kobe City Kizo Hisamoto and Mickey took to the stage in front of a large media turnout.
This is the 30th cooperation agreement Rakuten has signed with a local government, and is the first time for Rakuten to sign one with an ordinance-designated city*.
