On July 7, 2017, the Smile Summer Days 2017 event was held at Rakuten Crimson House. This was the second year of Smile Summer Days, which is held in celebration of the traditional Japanese festival of Tanabata. It's part of an initiative to raise awareness of and allow employees to enjoy Japanese culture. In this video, we introduce scenes from the fun event, including the many employees who came to work in yukutas (casual summer kimonos) and the special effort of one particular Rakuten Ichiba merchant!
