In March 2015, Superpoints LLC filed a lawsuit against Rakuten entities (collectively, “Rakuten”) in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California for alleged trademark infringement and related claims. The parties have resolved the case on mutually agreeable confidential terms. Rakuten firmly believes that it did not infringe on any trademark rights. Rakuten did not pay any money for any alleged infringement, transfer or assignment of trademark rights.
