Rakuten Auction, Inc. and Hunza, Inc. Enter into Business Partnership over Ticket Sales

Tokyo, September 24, 2014 – Rakuten Auction, Inc. today announced that it has concluded a business partnership agreement over ticket sales with Hunza Inc., which manages TicketCamp (http://ticketcamp.net/).

  This partnership is designed to further expand c the ticket turnover of each company by means of attracting customers from the homepages of both companies, and creating mechanisms to promote and stimulate transactions. For the future, the companies have plans to display products handled by TicketCamp in the search function of  Rakuten Auction.

  TicketCamp receives more than 7 million monthly visitors to the site, making it one of the largest ticket sales sites in Japan. As such, this will serve to expand the options for tickets that can be purchased by Rakuten Auction users. In addition, this will increase the number of views of and searches for merchants on TicketCamp, with the expectation being that this will thereby increase the accuracy of matching and boost the frequency of transactions.

  Rakuten Auction, Inc. and Hunza, Inc. will continue to strengthen this partnership in the future, with the aim of providing customers of both companies with a convenient and user-friendly service.
