Rakuten, Inc. (JASDAQ: 4755) today announced that it has closed its acquisition of Kobo Inc. and that it has acquired 100% of total issued and outstanding shares of Kobo, through the approval by the Canadian regulatory authorities.
Details of the acquisition are consistent with those outlined in the original acquisition(https://global.rakuten.com/newsrelease/2011/1109.html) announcement on November 9th 2011.
