On July 26, 2005 Rakuten, Inc. announced that wholly owned subsidiary Rakuten Travel, Inc. shall make STAR TOURS JAPAN CO. LTD into a subsidiary. The company operates a highway bus reservation web site service (http://www.iibus.com). Rakuten will hold 75% of outstanding common shares of the company upon completion of the transaction.
