Product Information

Do you know the breed Yutakamidori?
Yutakamidori is roasted much more and has stronger taste than
No.2 production quantity besides Yabukita which is cultivated all over Japan.
Yutakamidori is mainly produced in Kyusyu.
This breed was born in Shizuoka Tea Laboratory, but it was not appropriate
for Shizuoka climate since it is weak for frost, so that it has been distributed to
various other tea production sites. In late 1960's, passionate tea farmers and
merchants who were determined and eager to cultivate a delicious tea came across
this breed and helped it become a famous brand.  Shutting down sun light by cover
cultivation makes the tea leaf to have bluish beautiful glimmering and sweet straw aroma.
To finish the tea leaves into commercial green tea, we roast them enough to mix up
the fresh green aroma and roasted aroma in order to create this breed's unique aroma.
If you want to enjoy this breed's rich sweetness, it is a key to use a lower temperature water rather than high temperature water. If you use high temperature water,
the taste distinctively gets bitter. With 70 to 75 degree water,
please wait for 1 minute patiently.
Additionally it is important to flick your hand and teapot many times when you pour out tea.
Little by little from 6 to 7 times, tea water will be thick. You might think it is bitter
taking a look at cloudy deep green water color, but it is very rich.
Tea merchants express this richness to be sweetness.
Above all, this breed changed our owner's mind.He came across this breed
when he was an intern in Kagoshima tea company and got surprised
by its unique taste and aroma.
He said to himself, I never thought there was another interesting and delicious tea besides Yabukita! This encounter has been leading to our store's many lineups
for non-blend breed tea kinds. With proper degree water,
please enjoy the sweet roasted aroma coming up through your nose.
Yutakamidori ★★★ is picked up in the middle of April at the early stage in new flush season. Therefore, you can enjoy more fresh green of new buds than ★.
Fresh aroma is stronger than roasted aroma.Elegant and mellow.

【How to Make a Good Tea】

(6  ~7times). You can enjoy sweet deep taste.
