Ultra massive 8 gauge cable! High quality solo crystal copper has been braided into our patented hollow oval cable construction. The degradation of audio signal has been significantly lowered.

Among all Analysis Plus speaker cable models, "Solo Crystal Oval 8" is the most massive. High quality solo crystal copper is used for the conductors. High transient, high response, and ultra high resolution have been accomplished with this cable. It delivers extremely wide range sound, and, with such a high signal to noise ratio, the sound of this cable is quite natural.

With this model, one conductor is 11 gauge, and there are four of this conductor in one piece of speaker cable.

*** If you split these 4 conductors into two groups, and connect each group with one terminal (called shot gun mode), you will achieve massive 8 gauge speaker cable. (below referred as "Single Wire Model")

*** If you do not do this shot gun connection, but just put 4 connectors with the 4 separate conductors on one side (one connector on one conductor), you will get an internal biwire cable (biwiring cable put in one piece of cable), and with this mode, it is 11 gauge conductor speaker cable. (called as "Bi Wire Model")

If you listen to Analysis Plus' another speaker cable called Big Silver Oval, you might feel BSO as feminine. That is how masculine the sound of this Oval 8 is!

I feel that, of course, the lower frequency sound of this Oval 8 is excellent, but to achieve the full performance of the patented hollow oval design on the upper frequency signal, this sort of thickness of cable may be needed.

I think that this Oval 8 is not the higher or lower model of other model of AP cables: Golden Oval or Big Silver Oval. I feel that Oval 8 is another model that stands on different stand point of audio sound.
