「水戻しが不要」と本で読みましたが、私は約1時間水に浸けるので煮る時間は30分以内ですが柔らかくなります。 鉄分と食物繊維が豊富と知り「カレー・ハンバーグ・スープ・ひじきの煮物」などチョコチョコ使っています。 豆が小さいから豆の存在を余り感じません。 水戻しをしない時は煮る時間を長くすれば柔らかくなるので便利な豆です。

他店のレンズ豆はアメリカ産のものがほとんどなので、 インド産は嬉しいです。 アメリカ産と比べ、色が濃く一粒一粒がしっかりしています。 味もおいしいです。 圧力鍋を使う必要はないし、 水につけておかなくてもいいくらいで、 さっと使うことができるのでおすすめです。
