First-Ever “Rakuten Festival” Coming to Futako-Tamagawa in Tokyo, Celebrates Diversity of Culture and Services
Tokyo, October 15, 2025 - Rakuten Group, Inc. today announced its first-ever Rakuten Festival, a free-to-enter event celebrating the Group’s diverse culture and services, to be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
Since 2007, Rakuten held a similar event called “Rakuten Family Day” exclusively for employees as well as their families and friends. Starting this year, to showcase the diversity and culture of Rakuten as well as its expansive lineup of services, Rakuten Festival will be open to the general public, with different booths to be hosted at the company’s Rakuten Crimson House headquarters and the nearby plaza*1.
Those who register in advance (first-come, first-serve basis; free admission) will gain access to select areas of Rakuten Crimson House that are usually off-limits to non-employees, including the Asakai venue where Rakuten holds its weekly Group-wide all-hands meetings, and take commemorative photos inside. In addition to showcasing Rakuten's various services and businesses, visitors can visit booths from Rakuten’s many employee clubs to catch a glimpse of their extracurricular activities. A kids' area equipped with diaper changing facilities will also be available for visitors with small children.
At the Futako-Tamgawa Rise Central Square, Studio and Hall in front of Rakuten Crimson House, a diverse range of interactive booths and activities will be available for visitors to enjoy. Visitors can try out Rakuten’s cutting-edge AI agents at the Rakuten AI Experience booth, visit the Blind Soccer® Experience booth led by para-athletes affiliated with Rakuten’s Socio business, try out handmade cookies from the Rakuten Crimson Store convenience store located within Rakuten Crimson House, and discover a selection of popular gourmet items from Rakuten Ichiba merchants*2, including the sweet potato specialty store "Oimoya," pufferfish specialty store "Yamaguchi Fugu Honpo Kiraku," and Taiwanese gourmet specialty store "Shouchu Shokudo." Moreover, visitors can enter a raffle for a chance to win attractive prizes.
