Rakuten Super Game 2025 Unites Baseball, Fan Engagement and the Taiwan Ecosystem

Taipei, June 27, 2025 – Rakuten Group, Inc. and Taiwan Rakuten Baseball, Inc. today announced the return of Rakuten Super Game on July 25 at Rakuten Taoyuan Baseball Stadium. Now in its fifth year, the annual event aims to unite professional baseball with Rakuten’s Taiwan Ecosystem in a festive summer atmosphere.

This year’s event will feature a fan-exclusive lucky draw, offering one Rakuten Monkeys Fan Club member a unique opportunity to take the field during the ceremonial first pitch and experience the thrill typically reserved for professional athletes.

The Rakuten Super Game brings together Rakuten businesses in Taiwan for a day of baseball, entertainment and brand experiences. This year’s edition will feature booths and promotions from across the Rakuten Ecosystem, including Rakuten Ichiba, Rakuten Card, Rakuten International Bank, Rakuten Kobo, Rakuten Travel, Rakuten Medical and Rakuten Global Trading Taiwan. 

For the first time, a lucky draw will offer one Rakuten Monkeys fan the opportunity to step into the ceremonial batter’s box at the start of the game. This initiative is designed to deepen fan engagement and reward dedicated supporters with an unforgettable on-field experience.

Rakuten Monkeys Fan Club members with a Golden Class or Monkeys VIP card can join the draw by presenting their virtual coupon at the designated booth during the home games on July 5 or 6 at Rakuten Taoyuan Baseball Stadium. Each member may enter only once during the event, which runs from gate opening until the end of the fifth inning break, with winners drawn randomly on-site. In addition to the grand prize, the lucky draw will also feature signed baseballs, official team merchandise and other exciting prizes to reward dedicated fans.
