Rakuten Mobile is expanding Rakuten AI for Business, its GenAI service for businesses, to educational institutions. While schools has been slow to adopt AI due to information accuracy and security concerns, leveraging AI is expected to streamline a wide range of school operations such as grading, proofreading, creating teaching materials, and preparing documents for teachers. At Tokyo Seitoku University High School, educators learned about GenAI basics and information security before taking part in workshops on AI-powered document creation. Attendees said "the barrier to AI has lowered," saying they "look forward to more efficient proofreading."
