Joy of Giving: Rakuten India's CSR Activities

Social empowerment is at the heart of Rakuten Group and in Rakuten India's headquarters in Bengaluru, that heart was beating strongly at the annual "Joy of Giving" event. Rakuten India joined hands with Craftizen Foundation, whose mission is to provide sustainable livelihoods through crafts, for this year's event. Local artisans visited Rakuten Crimson House Bengaluru to teach Rakutenians how to paint terracotta mugs. Each mug was then sold at a premium and the proceeds were donated back to the local community.
