Rakuten's Actions to Reduce Environmental Impact in Cafeterias

Rakuten Group has launched initiatives to raise employee environmental awareness in its cafeterias. For example, 13 Rakuten cafeterias with kitchen facilities developed 17 different menu items to mark World Environment Day in 2024, with the Rakuten Card Sendai office cafeteria offering taco rice bowls with soy-based meat, while in Osaka the cafeteria provided curry with fish certified by the ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council).
