Rakuten TV Joins Champions League of Digital Content Industry

The video-on-demand (VOD) platform Rakuten TV is enjoying a blockbuster year in 2019, thanks to securing partnerships with four of the world's leading television manufacturers that sees its service more than triple, from 12 to 42 countries across Europe.

With this breakthrough expansion, the Barcelona-based company gets its own branded remote control button for major smart TV manufacturers Samsung Electronics, LG, Philips and Hisense, which will allow it to reach up to 30 million households within two years.
