Today, Poom is the Manager of Rakuten Travel’s Growth Hack Development Group. He gets to explore the world both outside the office through his travels and inside the office beside his global team.
- Realize Your DreamsMirai joined Rakuten in 2013, drawn by its openness to diversity. With an international background and a passion for connecting people, culture, and storytelling, she began her journey in PR for Rakuten Travel.
She later proposed and launched Rakuten’s first Employer Branding function, helping foster a workplace where employees feel a true sense of belonging (Ibasho). Today, she champions a culture where differences are valued as strengths, empowering employees to thrive as their authentic selves. - Reach New HeightsYuki, originally from Saga Prefecture, was drawn to Rakuten’s mission to empower local communities and joined the company with strong conviction.
When asked to take on the unexpected challenge of leading Vissel Kobe, Rakuten’s professional football club in Japan’s top-tier J1 League, he rose to the occasion. He worked with determination to keep the team competitive and now fosters a culture of unity and passion while helping the club contribute to the vitality of the local community. - Empower A Better WorldVanessa harnesses her passion for sports and applies some of the key principles of sportsmanship - not giving up, believing in yourself, and respecting your opponent - to create an environment where her team members can excel. Vanessa believes sports can change people and people can change the world. She strives to instill this belief in her team members as she empowers them to make an impact on the world through the work they do together.
