1. Barrel lid and barrel will be shipped separately.
2. Fill the barrel with water and leave it for a few|
hours before using it.The water may leak a little
at this point, but it will stop as the wood expanded. ( Do not use hot water, it might damage the barrel.)
3.Cut ropes at the top edge of the barrel.
4.Fill the barrel with sake.|
Cover the barrel with the barrel lid.
Cover the cask with barrel cover
5. Barrel lid is easily split in 2 pieces.
They are held together by 2 small bamboo skewers.
6. Hit the middle of the barrel lid .|
Try to do this with one clean hit, after other parties
say, " ichi, ni, san ! yoisho !"(1,2,3!go!)
