Celebration! The Shinshu factory distillation reopening!！
It is MARS WHISKY revival from a shutdown of 1992 at last for 19 years!

Honbo brewing Co., Ltd. (Kagoshima-shi south Sakae, President-Director Honbo Osamu) sells two items for "3 +25 28 years" newly as pure malt whisky to the distillation re-opening of the Shinshu factory than news release by Honbo brewing as follows for "Mt. Komaga-take ten years".

We acquire a whisky production license in Kagoshima in 1949. As for the thing of a design / guidance of Kiichiro Iwai who carried a bird of the domestic whisky wound life in 1960, store whisky distillation facilities with the distillation of the completion, the malt in reference to "bamboo crane report" in Yamanashi factory (existing Yamanashi Mars winery); is a start by sale by a brand name of "the Mars whisky". In 1985, I perform the completion (I transfer the facilities including the still) of Shinshu factory (existing Shinshu factory) in Miyadamura, Kamiina-gun, Nagano. However, I was forced to a stop about the distillation of the malt last by 1992 while whiskey demand was sluggish for a long time. I examined what I operate again from the background that the still of the Iwai design operates, and owns the genealogy of the history to sail it up until domestic production whiskey birth till now and these malt home brew brought about too much for half a century, but, including a still, I complete check, maintenance about whisky facilities in order to supply stable malt home brew as well as malt home brew long-term last, and to hold for the future and reopen the distillation of the whiskey malt home brew from February, 2011.

3 +25 <28 years>

The Mars whisky is born in Kagoshima in 1949, and pass in Yamanashi; to Nagano. "3 +25" is the barrel pure malt whisky which matured in malt home brew of the three years aging that they succeeded from Kagoshima and Yamanashi again in a place of Nagano for 25 years. In various natural environments, as for the whisky which continued being unexploited, sweet fragrance and vanilla incense harking back to dried fruit by the aging for the long term become more attractive, and heavy, rich taste is the gem which it is a comfortable lingering sound, and I have a long it, and continues.

It is the gem which moderate sherry incense is connected with the fruity aroma such as apricot and the Hiroshi pear of the top notebook in a good balance, and harmonized.
