When does free shipping not apply?

Free shipping does not apply in cases where
- The merchant is not participating in the campaign.
- The total cost of one order (including tax) does not exceed 10,000 JPY.
- The order is shipped to a destination within Japan. This includes fowarding service and delivery service addresses.
- Orders shipped after December 31, 2013.
- Any of the campaign rules are not respected. Please check the "Campaign Rules "section for details.
*An order is a transaction with the same order number. The order number is displayed on the screen after each purchase is complete.
*For eligible orders, shipping fees up to 3,000 JPY are free (waived by Rakuten). Shipping fees in excess of 3,000JPY are to be paid by the customer. Example: If shipping fees amount to 4,000 JPY, the customer needs to pay 1,000JPY (4,000JPY -3,000JPY = 1,000JPY).

What expenses are incurred in addition to shipping?

In addition to the price of the product, customs and other taxes may apply. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. For more information please contact your local customs office for current charges before you order.

If I buy from different stores, is shipping still free?

Each order from each shop MUST amount to 10,000 JPY (including tax) and include only eligible items. Please also note that at Rakuten you cannot bundle items from different stores in the same order. You will get a different order number for each store.

If I buy multiple times from the same store, is shipping still free?

As long as each order you made is above 10,000 JPY(including tax), up to 3,000 JPY of the shipping fee will be deducted from each order.

When I purchase from multiple stores, will everything be shipped together? Or will each store ship separately?

Each store will ship separately. You cannot combine orders from multiple stores into the same shipment. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I use a credit card issued overseas?

The types of credit cards accepted and payment procedures vary by store. Please contact the store directly using the "Contact store" link on the item page.

The following message is displayed in my shopping cart: "You will be billed ΟΟΟJPY (order amount) + shipping fees". Are shipping fees up to 3,000 JPY still free?

For all orders that meet the requirements of the campaign, shipping fees up to 3,000 JPY are free. After completing your order, the store will send you an order confirmation email. Please verify the shipping fee amount in the email. If you have any question about shipping charges, please contact the store directly.

At checkout, the "Customer Information" section displays my address within Japan.
Am I still eligible for this free shipping campaign even if I registered a Japanese address?

If you registered a Japanese address when you signed-up for your Rakuten, this address will be displayed at checkout. However, if the shipping destination for your order is outside of Japan, then the order is eligible for free shipping. Orders shipped to any destinations inside Japan, including Tenso.com addresses or other forwarding/delivery services are not eligible.

I have a question about my order.

Handling of the product, shipping, payment, etc., varies by store. Please contact the store directly by using the "Contact Store" link on the item page.

There are charges for shipping in the order confirmation email. Why isn't shipping free?

After you place an eligible order, the store will calculate the shipping fees and subtract the 3,000JPY discount. The store will then send you an order confirmation email where you can confirm the final amount shipping fees owed. In case the original shipping fee exceeded 3,000 JPY, you will be asked to pay the difference.

My order qualifies for this campaign but was cancelled by the store. What happened?

Order cancellation may occur if the items are prohibited in the destination country or territory. For details, please contact the store directly.

The shop shipped my order after December 31st. Will my order still be eligible?

If your order is shipped after December 31st, you will not receive the shipping discount. Please contact the store directly for any dispute.

What are the differences between the original Free Shipping campaign and the extended Free Shipping campaign (bonus round)?

- The list of participating shops is partially different.
- Orders placed in the extended Free Shipping period (bonus round) are not eligible for participation in other tie-up campaigns held concurrently with the original Free Shipping period (2013/11/12 10:00 to 2013/11/15 09:59 (Japan Standard Time)).

Can I receive the free shipping discount multiple times/Can I join the campaign multiple times?

Yes, as long as you meet all the requirements each time, you can receive the shipping discount.

- The store must ship your order before 2014/01/01 (Japan Standard Time).
Eligible Items All items from merchants participating in the campaign. Eligible items will be marked with a red tag in the search results. Eligible merchants can be confirmed from the campaign page.
Eligible Destinations All countries (except for Japan)
*Even if the address is a foreign one, if the actual delivery place is inside of Japan, the order is not eligible.
*Orders delivered to Tenso.com addresses or any other addresses within Japan, provided by forwarding services, and other such services are not eligible.
Minimum Purchase Amount Required To be eligible, your order must contain only products from merchants participating in the campaign, and the order must total 10,000 JPY (or a pretax order value of 9,523JPY) or more. Each order is limited to a single merchant. You cannot place a single order from several merchants.
*Multiple orders cannot be consolidated, nor can their value be added and be counted as a single order.
*Purchase amount does not include shipping or wrapping.

*If the total purchase amount of one order is more than 10,000 JPY (or a pretax order value of 9,523JPY), but the total amount paid is less than 10,000 yen due to usage of Rakuten points, the order is still eligible for this campaign.

Notes For international shipping, the store will send you a shipping fee confirmation email to let you know the total amount of shipping fees owed. In cases where the shipping charges exceed 3,000 JPY, the customer shall be responsible to pay the difference.
For orders containing pre-ordered products, the order will only be eligible for this campaign if the order is shipped before December 31, 2013.
In the case Rakuten determines a misuse of this campaign, the order may be deemed ineligible.
