Radioactive ingredient & decontamination
from Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster
Photo courtesy of Tokyo Electric Power Company- The Great East Japan Earthquake in March 11th 2011, caused serious damage to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
Large amounts of radioactive materials were released in this disaster, and subsequently the rainfall on March 15th, deposited large quantities of radioactive substances onto the ground.
In order to decrease the level of radiactivity, decontamination work is being done.
After the decontamination of radioactive ground
- Currently, decontamination activities are taking place in each area of Fukushima. Plants and flowers must also be cut down in the process.
It is very sad to see the ground without any green or flowers.
