Passenger and Rakuten Research Team Up to Introduce
“Social Research,” a New Market Research Service

Passenger, Inc. (“Passenger,” CEO: Bahram Nour-Omid, Head Office: Los Angeles, California, USA) and Rakuten Research, Inc. (“Rakuten Research,” CEO: Manabu Mori, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) have teamed up for the introduction of Passenger’s industry leading social research platform into the Japanese market.

Rakuten Research has entered into this partnership with the objective of obtaining the exclusive rights to offer “Social Research,” platforms in Japan, and the company intends to begin offering the new Social Research service within the year. The companies intend to first introduce this new service in the Japanese domestic market before expanding into other Asia Pacific markets.

Passenger’s Social Research platform provides high quality marketing data via an engaging communications platform. Passenger has been leading the social research and private online community marketplace since its founding in 2005. For its part, Rakuten Research makes use of the Rakuten ecosystem of the Rakuten Group centering on the Rakuten Ichiba B2B2C Internet shopping mall for its research.
