ANA Raku Pack Users Pass the One-Million
Mark Just Four Years and Two Months
after Service Launch

Rakuten ANA Travel Online Co., Ltd. (“Rakuten ANA Travel Online,” President and CEO: Junichiro Miyagawa, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) has announced that user numbers for the ANA Raku Pack, a dynamic domestic travel package that was released in October 2006, reached one million on December 26, 2010, just four years and two months since the service’s launch. Rakuten ANA Travel Online is co-financed by Rakuten, Inc. (“Rakuten,” Chairman and CEO: Hiroshi Mikitani, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) and All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (“ANA,” President and CEO: Shinichiro Ito, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo).

The ANA Raku Pack is a dynamic travel package that allows users to freely assemble a travel package for themselves using flights operated by ANA and accommodation administered by Rakuten Travel. The service was launched in October 2006, and in July 2008 it added a rental car function in order to enhance transportation convenience, where users can take advantage of a total of 3,000 rental car stores nationwide in freely constructing their travel package. Furthermore, in November 2009 ANA Raku Pack Mobile commenced services, offering the industry’s first mobile interface allowing users to search for and reserve accommodation, flights, and rental cars from their own mobile phone, thus continuing efforts to boost the convenience of the service for all of our customers.

In addition, on December 1, 2010, services were launched for the overseas ANA Raku Pack travel package. Pairing ANA’s comprehensive domestic network together with international routes provided a wide variety of arrival and departure locations convenient for making connections, thereby offering customers throughout Japan an easier way to enjoy overseas travel.

The ANA Raku Pack has continued to grow at an accelerated rate since its user numbers hit the 500,000 mark in October 2009. We will continue to expand our services and enhance the convenience of this dynamic travel package in order to meet the growing travel demands of our customers.)
