On September 15, 2005, Rakuten, Inc. held a board of directors meeting and appointed Mr. Atsushi Kunishige to the position of Executive Deputy President of the company. Mr. Kunishige has been granted representative director rights. Note: Mr. Hiroshi Mikitani is the Representative Director of the company and holds the positions of Chairman and CEO.
