Petition Submitted to Prime Minister Ishiba Opposing Ban on Hometown Tax Point Grants

Mickey submitted to Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba 2,952,819 signatures in opposition to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' revised public notice prohibiting point grants by Furusato Nozei ("Hometown Tax") program intermediary websites. Rakuten, representing the voices of many, will continue to demand the repeal of the revision and deepen constructive dialogue with the government in order to further utilize the Hometown Tax program and support regional promotion and autonomous growth.
